We had a great time and enjoyed the food at Nellie Rua. We ordered chicken curry, chicken bang bang, a chicken burger, and chicken wings. All of them were delicious, though I think the chicken burger could be improved. We also enjoyed the live music at the end.

We ordered, the kids fish chips, beautiful fish and the batter was excellent (just wish our 4 year old could have appreciated it as much as us)Mussels white wine and cream, this was the stand out. Absolutely fantastic. Roast of the day was ham, it was delicious, soup of the day was tomato, reminded me of my grandmothers. And the Nellie's beef burger, really simple burger but so flavourful.Enjoyed everything!Will be back!

We passed it along the way. We did not expect such a lovely inside standing outside.We started with the chicken wings and they were awesome.The curry rice and linguini with seafruit tasted also very well and the size was more then enough. We can highly recommend this bar/restaurant.

Attended on Sunday at around 1pm, was very quiet which initially had us concerned, however once the food arrived we realised we had nothing to worry about. Seafood chowder with guiness wheaten bread is excellent, it is on the menu as a starter but you can request it as a main. The portion sizes were very big, the food was hot and the service was attentive. The prices are also fair for the amount of food you get.We found the music slightly loud however this was the only flaw in what is otherwise a great bar. Wouldn't hesitate to return.

Great vibe in here. Such a lovely interior. Didn't eat here but stopped in quickly for a Guiness. Well worth visiting

Food was good and was only place around that offered selection and took cards. Waitress was charming. Bathrooms are nice and clean, although upstairs.

Went here for lunch. Food is so delicious and the staff very friendly. Good vegetarian option on the menu too. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing.

Great atmosphere and the food/drinks were delicious. I also somehow forgot my purse here with my US passport in it, the bar kept it for me and it was safe there the next morning and no charges on any of my cards. I am extremely grateful for the honest patrons and employees who kept my purse and wallet safe.
